牧養關懷（pastoral care）是一種關懷和支持個人或群體在心靈、情感和精神層面上的需要的實踐。牧養關懷的目的是幫助人們在面對困難、挑戰和痛苦時找到支持、安慰和指導。它可以包括提供情感支持、聆聽和理解、鼓勵和激勵、宗教或靈性指導、個人成長和發展等。
實踐牧養關懷
牧養關懷的實踐者可能是牧師、神職人員、心理學家、社會工作者或其他具有相關專業知識和技能的人士。他們通常具備良好的溝通能力、同理心和尊重他人的能力，並且能夠提供適切的支持和指導。
牧養關懷 Pastoral Care 與教練服務（Coaching）、輔導服務（Counseling） 主要區別
人們常將教練服務（Coaching），輔導服務（Counseling），和牧養關懷（Pastoral Care）是三種不同但有些重疊的支援形式混淆，其實他們之間亦有主要區別：
教練服務（Coaching）: 教練服務注重於幫助個人或團隊達到特定目標、發掘潛力和提升表現。教練是一個支持者和指導者，通過提問、引導和激勵來幫助客戶思考、制定行動計劃並實現目標。教練不給出解決方案，而是幫助客戶自行發現解決問題的方法。
輔導服務（Counseling）: 輔導服務是一種專業的心理健康支援，旨在幫助個人處理情緒困擾、解決心理問題、改善人際關係等。輔導師是訓練有素的專業人士，通過提供情感支持、傾聽和給予指導，幫助客戶探索和理解他們的情感和行為，並找到解決困難的方法。
牧養關懷（Pastoral Care）: 牧養關懷是一種基於宗教或靈性信仰的支援形式，由牧師、神職人員或宗教領袖提供。它關注個人的靈性成長、宗教信仰和心靈需求。牧養關懷包括提供神學指導、靈性輔導、禱告和宗教儀式等，旨在幫助人們面對生活困難、處理信仰問題和尋找靈性指引。
儘管教練服務、輔導服務和牧養關懷在方法和目標上有所不同，但它們都致力於幫助人們實現個人成長、解決問題和提升生活質量。具體使用哪種服務取決於個人需求和目標，以及信仰和價值觀的考慮。

職場牧者牧養關懷協會是本港職場事工的專業培訓和支持機構，與教會、神學院和機構合作，提供專業的牧養關懷培訓和教育計劃給企業、機構、神學生和有志成為職場牧養事奉的人。我們制定和執行會員的專業標準和職業道德。
我們的願景和目標
我們的願景是在職場中實踐信仰，促進職場的靈性關懷，並倡導全球職場運動的轉化和提昇。我們希望通過卓越的專業服務在該地區獲得接受、認可和尊敬。
我們的目標是讓世界的職場運動變得更加強大，有更多上帝的牧者在職場中崛起，創造一個更大、更廣泛、更深入、更包容的全球職場運動。
|Pastoral Care| What is pastoral care?
Pastoral care is a practice of providing care and support for individuals or groups in their spiritual, emotional, and psychological needs. The purpose of pastoral care is to help people find support, comfort, and guidance when facing difficulties, challenges, and pain. It can include providing emotional support, listening and understanding, encouragement and motivation, religious or spiritual guidance, personal growth and development, and more.
Practitice Pastoral Care
Practitioners of pastoral care can be pastors, clergy, psychologists, social workers, or other professionals with relevant knowledge and skills. Theytypically possess good communication skills, empathy, and the ability to respect others, and are able to provide appropriate support and guidance.
Coaching, counseling, and pastoral care are often confused as three different but overlapping forms of support. In fact, there are primary distinctions among them:
Coaching: Coaching focuses on helping individuals or teams achieve specific goals, discover potential, and enhance performance. A coach is a supporter and guide who helps clients think, develop action plans, and accomplish goals through questioning, guiding, and motivating. The coach does not provide solutions but helps clients discover their own problem-solving methods.
Counseling: Counseling is a professional mental health support aimed at helpingindividuals deal with emotional distress, resolve psychological issues, improve interpersonal relationships, and more. Counselors are trained professionals who help clients explore and understand their emotions and behaviors, and find ways to solve difficulties through providing emotional support, listening, and giving guidance.
Pastoral Care: Pastoral care is a form of support based on religious or spiritual beliefs, provided by pastors, clergy, or religious leaders. It focuses on individuals’ spiritual growth, religious beliefs, and spiritual needs. Pastoral care includes providing theological guidance, spiritual counseling, prayer, and religious rituals, aiming to help people cope with life difficulties, address faith issues, and find spiritual guidance.
Although coaching, counseling, and pastoral care differ in methods and goals, they all aim to help individuals achieve personal growth, problem-solving, and enhance quality of life. The specific service used depends on individual needs and goals, as wellas considerations of faith and values.

The Instittue of Workplace Chaplaincy is a professional training and support organization for workplace ministry in Hong Kong. We collaborate with churches, theological colleges, and institutions to provide professional pastoral care training and educational programs for businesses, organizations, theological students, and individuals aspiring to serve in workplace pastoral care. We establish and implement professional standards and ethical practices for our members.
Our Vision and Goal
Our vision is to practice faith in the workplace, promote spiritual care in the workplace, and advocate for transformation and enhancement of the global workplace movement. We aim to gain acceptance, recognition, and respect in the region through excellent professional service.
