The Workplace Pastoral Care Skills Internship Training is a supervised internship program for professionals from various religions interested in serving the workplace. The training process allows trainees to have close contact with individuals in need and conduct in-depth individual interviews. Through peer and mentor feedback, participants gain new insights into themselves and the people they serve. Through faith reflection, they gain a new understanding of pastoral care ministry. At the same time, they develop interpersonal and professional care skills.

臨床牧關訓練 (Clinical Pastoral Education) 是為有志於服務職場人士的跨宗教在專業牧養關懷方面培訓。學員在「以人為本」和「人際關係」的小組互動學習形式和信仰反思整合過程中，提昇關懷者對自己、和牧關對象生命的洞察力、感受力與覺醒力，從而得到更大的生命力和成長力量。

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is a training program for professionals interested in serving in pastoral care across different religions. Participants engage in group interactive learning focused on a person-centered approach and interpersonal relationships. Through the integration of faith reflection, they enhance their insight, empathy, and awareness of their own lives and provide pastoral care. This process leads to greater vitality and personal growth.

|牧養關懷| 甚麼是牧養關懷? What is pastoral care?

牧養關懷（pastoral care）是一種關懷和支持個人或群體在心靈、情感和精神層面上的需要的實踐。牧養關懷的目的是幫助人們在面對困難、挑戰和痛苦時找到支持、安慰和指導。它可以包括提供情感支持、聆聽和理解、鼓勵和激勵、宗教或靈性指導、個人成長和發展等。

實踐牧養關懷

牧養關懷的實踐者可能是牧師、神職人員、心理學家、社會工作者或其他具有相關專業知識和技能的人士。他們通常具備良好的溝通能力、同理心和尊重他人的能力，並且能夠提供適切的支持和指導。

牧養關懷 Pastoral Care 與教練服務（Coaching）、輔導服務（Counseling） 主要區別

人們常將教練服務（Coaching），輔導服務（Counseling），和牧養關懷（Pastoral Care）是三種不同但有些重疊的支援形式混淆，其實他們之間亦有主要區別：

教練服務（Coaching）: 教練服務注重於幫助個人或團隊達到特定目標、發掘潛力和提升表現。教練是一個支持者和指導者，通過提問、引導和激勵來幫助客戶思考、制定行動計劃並實現目標。教練不給出解決方案，而是幫助客戶自行發現解決問題的方法。

輔導服務（Counseling）: 輔導服務是一種專業的心理健康支援，旨在幫助個人處理情緒困擾、解決心理問題、改善人際關係等。輔導師是訓練有素的專業人士，通過提供情感支持、傾聽和給予指導，幫助客戶探索和理解他們的情感和行為，並找到解決困難的方法。

牧養關懷（Pastoral Care）: 牧養關懷是一種基於宗教或靈性信仰的支援形式，由牧師、神職人員或宗教領袖提供。它關注個人的靈性成長、宗教信仰和心靈需求。牧養關懷包括提供神學指導、靈性輔導、禱告和宗教儀式等，旨在幫助人們面對生活困難、處理信仰問題和尋找靈性指引。

儘管教練服務、輔導服務和牧養關懷在方法和目標上有所不同，但它們都致力於幫助人們實現個人成長、解決問題和提升生活質量。具體使用哪種服務取決於個人需求和目標，以及信仰和價值觀的考慮。

|Pastoral Care| What is pastoral care?

Pastoral care is a practice of providing care and support for individuals or groups in their spiritual, emotional, and psychological needs. The purpose of pastoral care is to help people find support, comfort, and guidance when facing difficulties, challenges, and pain. It can include providing emotional support, listening and understanding, encouragement and motivation, religious or spiritual guidance, personal growth and development, and more.

Practitice Pastoral Care

Practitioners of pastoral care can be pastors, clergy, psychologists, social workers, or other professionals with relevant knowledge and skills. Theytypically possess good communication skills, empathy, and the ability to respect others, and are able to provide appropriate support and guidance.

Coaching, counseling, and pastoral care are often confused as three different but overlapping forms of support. In fact, there are primary distinctions among them:

Coaching: Coaching focuses on helping individuals or teams achieve specific goals, discover potential, and enhance performance. A coach is a supporter and guide who helps clients think, develop action plans, and accomplish goals through questioning, guiding, and motivating. The coach does not provide solutions but helps clients discover their own problem-solving methods.

Counseling: Counseling is a professional mental health support aimed at helpingindividuals deal with emotional distress, resolve psychological issues, improve interpersonal relationships, and more. Counselors are trained professionals who help clients explore and understand their emotions and behaviors, and find ways to solve difficulties through providing emotional support, listening, and giving guidance.

Pastoral Care: Pastoral care is a form of support based on religious or spiritual beliefs, provided by pastors, clergy, or religious leaders. It focuses on individuals’ spiritual growth, religious beliefs, and spiritual needs. Pastoral care includes providing theological guidance, spiritual counseling, prayer, and religious rituals, aiming to help people cope with life difficulties, address faith issues, and find spiritual guidance.

Although coaching, counseling, and pastoral care differ in methods and goals, they all aim to help individuals achieve personal growth, problem-solving, and enhance quality of life. The specific service used depends on individual needs and goals, as wellas considerations of faith and values.

The Institue of Workplace Chaplaincy

The Instittue of Workplace Chaplaincy is a professional training and support organization for workplace ministry in Hong Kong. We collaborate with churches, theological colleges, and institutions to provide professional pastoral care training and educational programs for businesses, organizations, theological students, and individuals aspiring to serve in workplace pastoral care. We establish and implement professional standards and ethical practices for our members.

Our Vision and Goal

Our vision is to practice faith in the workplace, promote spiritual care in the workplace, and advocate for transformation and enhancement of the global workplace movement. We aim to gain acceptance, recognition, and respect in the region through excellent professional service.

Our goal isto make the global workplace movement stronger, with more pastors of God rising in the workplace, creating a larger, broader, deeper, and more inclusive global workplace movement.””The Workplace Pastoral Care Association is a professional training and support organization for workplace ministry in Hong Kong.

一般人很想關心別人，但往徃適得其反，不但不能關心別人，反而令對方感到無助和不被了解。先看看這面書片段..

一般人很想關心別人，但往徃適得其反，不但不能關心別人，反而令對方感到憤怒、無助、和不被了解。以下是一般想關心別人但不得其法遇上的問題：

1） 沒有聆聽，沒有聽清楚對方想表達的就搶著回話

2） 錯誤理解對方：對方的處境，很容易引起自己過去的經驗在類似情況下的感受，接著就以自己的後感受作回應，不理對方的感受了；

3） 沒有共情： 無方進入對方的處境了解對方的感受，變為教師和辨論了；

4） 捉錯用神： 每個關懷者都有經驗上限制，只能以自己有限的經驗作選擇性回應，對方就覺得關懷者不了解他們

5）過份聰明：以為自己明白對方處境，了解對方的感受。被對方一句；「你不是我，怎知我感受」，對話就終止了。

6） 過於理性或感性：過於理性容易進入頭腦上的討論與辨論，過於感性就容易進入同哭同樂而錯過值得一同探索的話題，失去專業的平衡和助人的機會。

用同理心聆聽和用同理心的回應是一個講求高度自律的事情，學習與聖靈同工，提供聖靈引領下的臨場服事（Ministry of Presence) 更是值得反覆學習和自我反省，不斷求進步的過程，

本地及世界教會出席人數下降，需要尋找新的出路。然而，在本地人口中，能參加教會或職場團契的人數很少。因此，無論在人數上、人生工作時間比例上、屬靈生命受挑戰上，職場都是接觸、牧養和信徒見證榮耀上帝的必要場所。

1974年洛桑公約開啟了全球教會宣教的使命。但2004年至今，洛桑第40文件共識教會須推動職場事工，在普世及華人教會卻未見成效。研究顯示，教會單靠主日學和講壇牧養無法影響職場信徒的靈性。職場差距仍然存在。

在國外，職場牧者 (Workplace Chaplaincy) 已經成為延伸教會牧養到職場的新力量。在香港，職場牧者以教會及機構差派的牧者、雙職傳道人、平信徒領袖，以及以職場使命為中心的職場教會和網絡教會的形式存在，透過查經、分享、禱告、講座、同行、經驗分享和轉介專業輔導員等方式進行牧飬關懷。全人關懷和臨場牧養、心靈關顧的牧養形式尚未普及。

職場牧者牧養關懷協會是本港職場事工的專業培訓和支持機構，與教會、神學院和機構合作，提供專業的牧養關懷培訓和教育計劃給企業、機構、神學生和有志成為職場牧者的人。我們制定和執行會員的專業標準和職業道德。 

The Institute of Workplace Chaplaincy is a professional training and support organization for workplace ministry in the region. We collaborate with churches, seminaries, and institutions to provide professional pastoral care training and education programs for businesses, organizations, seminary students, and individuals aspiring to become workplace chaplains. We establish and implement professional standards and ethical practices for our members.

會員類別 Membership Types

職場牧者牧養關懷協會是職場牧者的專業團體。本會的會員資格有以下五類：The institute of workplace chaplaincy is a professional body for the workplace Chapman in the Marketplace ministries. It provides the following membership categories as its members:

• 企業、教會、機構 Corporates, Churches, Indtitutiins：從事或支援職場事工的企業、教會、、及機構。those corporations, churches, and institutions supporting the Marketplace ministries.
• 院士 Fellows: 資深會員，由會員及協會董事局通過接納 Those nominated and accepted by the Board of the Institute.
• 檢証會員 Professional Members: 經協會員資格委員會審查及成功檢證的職場牧者 Those accredited and certified workplace chaplains by the Membership Accreditation Committee.
• 協會會員 Associates: 已完成一個或以上單元的職場CPE培訓的會員 Members who completed one or more Workplace CPE units
• 會員 Affiliates: 有志於在職場傳福音及事奉的弟兄姊妹 Members who commit to serving in the Workplace.
• 學生會員 Student Members: 在學的全職或兼讀神學生，有志於職場事工及成為職場牧者 Those full time or part-time seminary students interested to serve in the marketplace ministries or participating in a workplace CPE unit.

企業會員，教會、機構會員，院士及檢證會員享有會員投票權。普通會員及學生會員並不擁有投票權。

Corporates, Churches, Institutional members, as well as Fellows and Professional Members have voting rights. Associates and Student Members do not have voting rights.
